Northeast Wisconsin Jr. Gamblers AAA Hockey

The Junior Gamblers are excited to have Brian Garavaglia join the Coaching Staff as Goalie Coach.  

Brian played goalie up through the college level with Northern Michigan University of the CCHA.  From a coaching standpoint, he spent 4 years working with Marquette Junior Hockey Association goalies in Marquette, Michigan at the Squirt through Midget Levels in A, AA, and AAA.  For the past 5 seasons Brian has worked with the Appleton Area Hockey Association where he coached Squirt through high school aged goalies at the house and travel levels.  While with AAHA he also ran their goalie school at Tri-County Arena where he designed the curriculum, recruited experienced instructors and shooters, and served as lead instructor on the ice.  In this capacity he used a lot of Lawrence University players and goalies as our shooters and instructors.  Brian also served as an instructor at the Marian University hockey school and the Bill Howard goalie school.  Brian’s current position is with Lawrence University as their Volunteer Goalie Coach.  This has him working directly with their goalies on the ice during practice as well as after practice in specialized goalie sessions.
