The Jr. Gamblers recognize that playing Tier I AAA hockey is a significant commitment to our  players and their families in time, effort, and financial obligations. 

While our program is one of the best values in Tier 1 AAA hockey, the Jr. Gamblers also provide several programs through which families can significantly reduce or even  eliminate their fees, as well as offset some travel expenses.

 

Comparing AAA Programs – the Green Bay Junior Gambler Value

When you compare apples to apples you’ll find the Green Bay Junior Gamblers to be the better value.

Like all other hockey parents, your fellow Green Bay Junior Gambler parents want hockey to be as affordable as possible.   The difference with the Gamblers is that we are committed to offering programs to help significantly reduce your cost of hockey!

 
Fundraising Program Highlights

Team Sponsorships are a great way to keep player fees lower and get the support of the community. Benefits go to both the individual player by reducing their player fees and to fellow players on their individual team by reducing their fees. 

 
Example:      Player A secures a Team Sponsor for $5,000.

             $2,000 will be applied to the Player’s account

$2,550 will be divided by the remaining players on the team. If there are 15 other players, each player gets a $170 credit!

 

There are three Team Sponsor Levels – Team Jersey Sponsor for $5,000, Helmet for $3,500 and Equipment for $2,000.

 

2.    INDIVIDUAL JERSEY SPONSOR - NEW for 2009-2010

Earn a credit for getting an individual jersey sponsor. Your sponsor will receive a fabric name plate to be placed at the bottom of each jersey for the 2009-2010 season. 

 

Example: Secure a $400 sponsor and earn a $300 credit. 

 

Each year we publish a collectible Junior Gamblers Program that aside from individual and team photos is chock full of advertisements.   By getting advertisements families can receive a substantial credit! In the 2008-2009 season, over ½ of the families participated receiving credits ranging from $150 to $3,900! Player fees were offset by more than $50,000!

  

Example: Sell a full page ad for $1,000 and receive 90% or $900 towards your skater’s registration fee. Ninety percent of each individual sponsorship will be credited towards the skater's registration fee. 

 

There are also $500, $250 and $150 ad levels. 

 

4.     GAS SCRIP

Earn a significant credit every time you buy gas -    Get your family and friends to buy gas cards from you to increase your credit! Each Family earns 16% for QUIK TRIP SCRIP GAS CARDS purchased between 6/15 through 9/25. Total scrip sales in 2008-09 reduced player fees by over $7,400.
