The Green Bay Gamblers announced that they have scheduled an exhibition game versus the Marquette Rangers of the North American Hockey League on Tuesday, September 22 at the Cornerstone Ice Arena in DePere.  Face off is set for 7:05 PM.  All proceeds from the game will be donated to the DePere Youth Hockey Association, Green Bay Area Youth Hockey Association and the Jr. Gamblers Hockey Association.

All tickets to the exhibition game are general admission and are $5.00 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased through the Gamblers front office beginning on September 7th (405-1265). Tickets will also be available day of game at the Cornerstone Ice Arena beginning at 5:00 PM.  Please let the ticket agent know which hockey association you are with (DPYHA, GBAYHA, or GBJG.)

“It is important to the Gamblers program that we support area youth hockey”, says Gamblers Head Coach/General Manager Jon Cooper.  “Whether it be our players assisting at youth hockey practices, or raising funds through events like this, the Gamblers are committed to providing both young people and adults with the opportunity to partake in this great game.”

Cooper’s dedication to area youth hockey showed this past month when he was named the President of Hockey Operations with the Jr. Gamblers Hockey Association. Cooper, who garnered USHL General Manager of the Year honors after leading the Gamblers to the Anderson Cup, will be responsible for the development of the organization's coaches and players.

The Gamblers share Cooper’s dedication in giving back, as the team raised over $55,000 this past year for local and national organizations and charities.
