Former Green Bay Junior Gambler and current Appleton Junior Defenseman Cliff Watson Jr. has committed to Ohio State University.  Head Coach Mark Osiecki, who is a former Badger Assistant Coach, has continued to aggressively work the state of Wisconsin for players.

Cliff Watson played six years as a Squirt, Pee Wee and Bantam with the Green Bay Junior Gamblers.  Cliff is a left-handed shot who is 6' 2" and 195 pounds.  Judging by the size of his father, he actually may have some room to grow.  He carries a 3.57 GPA.   He is the son of Cliff Watson – Assistant Coach of our Pee Wee Major team and brother of Carver Watson, of the Pee Wee Major team.

Cliff  is likely to play for the Sioux City of the USHL next season (2011-2012) and likely for the 2012-2013 season before joining Ohio State

Congrats Cliff!
