2006 Pee Wee Majors Are Off to Quebec!

The Northeast Wisconsin Hockey Association is excited to announce the 2006 birth year Jr Gambler hockey team has been invited to participate in the 60th Annual Pee Wee Quebec International Hockey Tournament, February 13th-24th, 2019. Tournament organizers have noted this will be the first time in the history of their prestigious tournament a team from the state of Wisconsin has been invited to play in the World-Class tournament.   Participation in the event though can be expensive when considering the length of the tournament, travel to Quebec, family accommodations and tournament participation activities.  To help offset some of the expense families will incur, the Northeast Wisconsin Hockey Association is accepting corporate sponsorship and private donations for those willing to assist during the months of December and January.

"The Quebec tournament is the most elite youth hockey tournament in the world and our kids have an opportunity of a lifetime to participate in it with the Jr. Gamblers organization." - Peter Byrne, 06 Jr Gambler Parent who grew up in eastern Ontario.

"This was by far the most memorable youth event I ever played in. The opportunity, if you make the finals, to play in front of over 10,000 spectators at the age of 12 is both nerve racking and exciting. This will be something these special boys from the state of Wisconsin will never, ever forget!" - Brian Rafalski, Director of Player Development-Northeast Wisconsin Hockey Association, 1987 Pee Wee Quebec Champion & 2017 Pee Wee Quebec Coach.
